Stuttgarter Riesen Onion Seeds

A workhorse of an onion that is prized by chefs and gardeners alike for great flavour and dense flesh. This heirloom onion produces very high yields of 7.5-10cm straw-yellow bulbs that are round with a flattened base. They store very well holding their texture and flavour well into the following Spring. Can also be used to grow green bunching onions if seeded densely at approx. 1.5 cm spacing. Try it raw, grilled, sautéed or baked. Delicious.
